Working as part of PAD studio for a decade shaping and fostering an environmentally conscious and narrative led approach to architecture.
"We create sustainable spaces and places that offer the chance to be, pause, reflect and grow. Places to retreat to, to be sheltered by. Places that nurture the soul. Places to commune with others. Beautiful places that offer a sense of wonder to all those who encounter and experience them. Places that give back and speak of the people and setting that they belong to – back in time and looking forward to the future."
At PAD studio, we create places that invite people to slow down, breathe deeply and feel connected - to themselves, to others, and to the landscapes they inhabit. Our architecture is rooted in care: for the land, for our clients, for craft, and for the long‑term wellbeing of future generations. We design buildings that sit gently within their surroundings, offer beauty without excess, and give back more than they take. Our work is guided by a belief that architecture should restore - ecologically, culturally and emotionally.
As a proudly certified B Corp, we hold ourselves accountable to people and planet. We shape site‑specific, low‑carbon and nature‑positive solutions informed by local ecology, geology, heritage and community context. Working from the richness of our regional setting, we regularly navigate complex planning environments and sensitive landscapes, using creativity and evidence‑led design to achieve positive, lasting outcomes.
We collaborate with a trusted network of engineers, landscape architects, ecologists, makers and academics who share our commitment to regenerative practice. This collective expertise strengthens our design process and deepens our research into materials, embodied carbon, biodiversity and building performance. We teach, mentor and share our learning openly because we believe that knowledge is a communal resource, not a competitive advantage.
Above all, we are a practice that is always learning; evolving our methods, refining our ethics, and contributing to wider change. Our work aims to nurture both people and place, creating architecture that feels grounded, generous and full of quiet wonder.
With over 15 years’ experience of strategic marketing in the built environment, I have previously worked at some well-known names within the industry. I’ve had an exciting career so far, working on research projects to unlock growth for companies, implementing strategies for international markets throughout Europe as well as developing and launching products through multi-channel campaigns. Sustainability is a big passion of mine – the ever increasing threat of the climate emergency means that sustainable thinking needs to be at the heart of all strategies. I have experience in reviewing a company’s carbon impact by looking at scopes 1 -3. With this data, I was able to contribute to creating roadmaps and translate them into successful commercial strategy. I’m thrilled to have founded Urban Fox Marketing, which is all my passion and knowledge (and curiosity) poured into a marketing consultancy, tailored to each client.
