My design approach begins with listening. Architecture, to me, is not imposed but invited; it belongs to the site that shapes it, responding to its specific conditions and its quiet demands. Each project grows through discovery, not as replication but as resonance, an extension of the landscape, the culture, and the human story it holds.  I work with local materials and reinterpret familiar forms through a contemporary lens, not to replicate tradition but to extend it. Clarity and restraint guide my choices, allowing the past to shape the present without nostalgia. Sustainability is not a trend. It is embedded in how we build, what we choose, and how we honour the land we inhabit. Before studying architecture, I trained as an architectural technologist, later graduating from the Architectural Association. I worked on residential projects with Paxton Locher and joined the Glenn Murcutt Masterclasses in Sydney and Ireland, deepening my understanding of connection, material, light, and restraint. My exhibition Exploring the Origin marked the beginning of a lifelong fascination with stone, which led me to the Amazon Rain Forest to learn from the Wai Wai and their ways of building. I founded MOOArc in London in 1996 and returned to the Channel Islands in 2000 after winning the Grandstand for Guernsey competition. Since then, I have continued to explore how local stone might speak in contemporary ways, maintaining a dialogue with the ancient past while seeking a new vernacular. MAP is a young, forward-thinking architectural practice based in London that works on a range of projects including homes, schools, community facilities, heritage & conservation, masterplans. MAP was founded by two friends, Matt and Rob, who have prior experience across the education, cultural and housing sectors. The practice originated from undertaking charitable, self-build community projects in Nicaragua and Uganda. These projects forged a successful working relationship and helped establish our proactive and collaborative working methods. The practice’s ethos ranges across three distinct principles People, Environment and Conservation.
Stanton Williams is a London based design studio that has gained international recognition for its thoughtful and innovative approach to sensitive sites and complex, ambitious projects. Our work demonstrates a commitment to place people at the forefront of the agenda and to create sustainable, resilient spaces that respond to their cultural, social and physical context. Stanton Williams recognise the complex challenges associated with climate change – the loss of biodiversity, the scarcity of resources and the natural limits of our planet. We aim to tackle these issues through long-term restorative action and by making a positive impact on the natural environment. We are devoted to creating exemplary places, not just for today, but for generations to come.

Founder, Urban Fox Marketing

With over 15 years’ experience of strategic marketing in the built environment, I have previously worked at some well-known names within the industry. I’ve had an exciting career so far, working on research projects to unlock growth for companies, implementing strategies for international markets throughout Europe as well as developing and launching products through multi-channel campaigns.  Sustainability is a big passion of mine – the ever increasing threat of the climate emergency means that sustainable thinking needs to be at the heart of all strategies. I have experience in reviewing a company’s carbon impact by looking at scopes 1 -3. With this data, I was able to contribute to creating roadmaps and translate them into successful commercial strategy. I’m thrilled to have founded Urban Fox Marketing, which is all my passion and knowledge (and curiosity) poured into a marketing consultancy, tailored to each client.
