About Vanessa Champion

Founder of The Journal of Biophilic Design, which aims to bridge the gap between research and practice. Originally a UCL academic with a PhD in Greek and Latin, she developed a passion for how societies thrive and the impact of visual environments. In her 20s, she embraced sustainable living, from whole foods to natural materials. Transitioning from academia, she thrived in finance, media, and creative roles, founding The Journal of Biophilic Design and PhotoAid Global Foundation, while creating Virtual Nature Walls to enhance wellbeing. Ness is also an artist, photographer and writer.
