He is the director of LPA Studio, a multidisciplinary firm specialising in territorial planning, urban design, and landscape projects, focusing on the global south´s unique ecological and social dynamics. He describes his approach as “Biourbanism for the sunny part of the planet.”
Juan is an expert in sustainable urbanism and a certified auditor for the BREEAM assessment. He serves as president of Instituto20grados, a foundation dedicated to advancing sustainable urbanisation models for arid and semi-arid regions. His innovative work has earned national and international recognition, including prestigious awards.
