Launched by Architecture Today and UK Architects Declare, and in partnership with Schüco, the Regenerative Architecture Index (RAI) benchmarks practices’ progress in the move towards regenerative practice and projects. It recognises the need for a built environment that isn’t merely reducing its negative impacts, but has positive impacts for today and the long term.

Open to architectural practices, companies and organisations of all sizes, the RAI offers:

  • Independent recognition of regenerative ambition and action
  • A credible benchmark against peers across the profession
  • Visibility to clients, collaborators and policymakers seeking demonstrable leadership

If you entered the RAI in 2025, you will need to submit a new entry to be included in the 2026 Index. The RAI is updated annually and previous participants must re-submit to retain their place.

Submissions are assessed against clear, published criteria. If you are actively engaging with regenerative principles, or setting out a clear, accountable pathway beyond sustainability, we encourage you to take part.

Entries cost £125+VAT and will close on 18th May 2026.

Start your submission using the RAI entry portal.

You can read the full submission from every practice in last year's index by visiting the channel for each section of the RAI:
